Job Summary
Under the general direction of the FSP Team
Leader, the Assistant Manager of the FSP Program assists the Team Leader with
daily bus iness operations of the FSP
service delivery teams. The Assistant Manager assists in the coordination and
completion of program referrals and documentation, collaborates with county BHS
staff, supervises and evaluates program staff in conjunction with Team Leader,
and acts as a leadership position with the staff. The Assistant Manager mus t be capable of assuming program responsibilities
in the absence of the Team Leader and uphold and promote the program philosophy
in all duties performed.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s
Degree (related humanities field preferred) and minimum one year, full-time
related experience with psychiatrically disabled population; OR B. Two years full-time related
experience with psychiatrically disabled population AND six months supervisory experience.
Able
to deal effectively with a variety of people and personality types regardless
of ethnic, racial, religious background or socio-economic level. Ability to
handle intense situations, display good judgment and decision making skills,
and remain calm and clearheaded under pressure. A high level of organizational
and time management skills. Must use reasonable
precautions in the performance of one’s duties and adhere to all applicable
safety rules and practices while acting in such a manner as to assure at all
times, maximum safety to one’s self, fellow employees, clients, and other
persons contacted through TMHA business. Conditions of employment include: must
be at least 18 years of age; possess a valid CA Driver’s License, minimum 2
years driving experience, reliable transportation, proof of auto insurance, and
DMV driving record that meets TMHA’s current vehicle insurance
requirements. May be required to utilize
personal vehicle and auto insurance. At
the time of hire, other conditions of employment are to comply with a T.B. skin
test or chest x-ray indicating a negative tuberculosis result, and receipt of a
criminal record clearance through fingerprinting. Must be able to successfully complete First
Aid and CPR training.
Compensation
Full-Time, Exempt position ~ benefit
eligible. $33,550-$43,680 annually, DOE.
