Job Summary
Transitions - Mental Health Association's (TMHA) Lompoc ACT program, located in the City of Lompoc – which is in the beautiful California coastal county of Santa Barbara - has an immediate opening for a Team Leader. Program:
Lompoc ACT is a Mental Health Services Act (MHSA)-funded, intensive Assertive Community Treatment program designed to engage with and provide services to transitional age youth (ages 16-25), adults, and older adults with serious and persistent mental illness so they can succeed in the community. Lompoc ACT will provide the full range of services including engagement, assessment, individualized planning, personal service coordination, integrated co-occurring drug and alcohol services, medication support, counseling support, social skills development, supported housing, integrated vocational services, supported education and access on a 24/7, 365 day basis. ACT promotes and inspires personal growth, healing and recovery using a “whatever it takes” approach to service delivery. All services are provided through a multi-disciplinary team approach that brings together doctors, nurses, drug and alcohol specialists, employment specialists, peer specialists, and personal service coordinators.

Minimum Requirments
The successful Team Leader candidate will have a Masters Degree in social work, psychology, nursing or a related field with at least 5 years experience in management and at least 3 years of experience in behavioral health. Other desirable qualities are some experience as a "NAMI model" ACT Team member; and Spanish bilingual skills. Must have strong interpersonal skills and oral/written communication skills; display good judgment and decision making, and remain calm and clearheaded under pressure; and posess well-defined time management and organizational skills. Conditions of employment include: must be at least 18 years of age; possess a valid CA Driver’s License, reliable transportation, proof of auto insurance, and DMV driving record that meets TMHA’s current vehicle insurance requirements. May be required to utilize personal vehicle and auto insurance. At the time of hire, other conditions of employment are to comply with a T.B. skin test or chest x-ray indicating a negative tuberculosis result, a health screen indicating fitness for duty and receipt of a criminal record clearance through fingerprinting. Must be able to successfully complete CPR and First Aid.

Compensation
Full time – Exempt; $50, 265 - $70,000/yr DOE with generous benefits
