Job Summary
Under
dual supervision of the Promotional Coordinator and the Marketing Coordinator,
assist in the development, implementation and marketing of all TMHA promotional
and fundraising events. The Intern, in this position will contribute to the
development of promotional and fundraising materials; assist with scheduling
and coordinating of events.
The
ideal candidate will be well organized, able to work independently, highly
motivated and have outstanding communication and people skills. Should be a
current undergraduate or graduate student in a Marketing, Research, or a Design
related discipline; however, we are flexible depending on experience and understanding.
The right individual will have some basic knowledge of marketing, design, and
outreach strategies. Must be detail-oriented with an ability to prioritize and
multitask effectively. Candidate must have excellent written and verbal
communication skills. Must be able to build relationships with team members and
work in a fast-paced non-profit environment. But most importantly, we want that
right person that loves to collaborate with different members of a team.

- Ability to establish and maintain

- Must use reasonable precautions in
the performance of one’s duties and adhere to all applicable safety rules
and practices while acting in such a manner as to assure at all times,
maximum safety to one’s self, fellow employees, clients, and other persons
contacted through TMHA business.
Conditions of employment include:
- Must be
at least 18 years of age; possess a valid CA Driver’s License, reliable
transportation, proof of auto insurance, and DMV driving record that meets
TMHA’s current vehicle insurance requirements. May be required to utilize
personal vehicle and auto insurance.
- Ability to possess and maintain good
physical and mental health.
- Comply
with a T.B. skin test or chest x-ray indicating a negative tuberculosis result
and receipt of a criminal record clearance through fingerprinting.
- Must be able to successfully complete First Aid and CPR training
