Job Summary
Transitions – Mental Health Association has an opening for a Residential Case Manager. Under the general direction of the Program Manager, the Residential Case Manager provides brokerage, mental health and residential services to psychiatrically disabled adults in the community.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field and at least 6 months experience in the field of mental disabilities; or at least three years experience in the field of mental disabilities. Basic house maintenance skills preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age; Must hold (or obtain within 45 days of employment) a valid California Driver’s License, proof of auto insurance, and a DMV driving report satisfactory to TMHA’s insurance carrier, as a condition of employment. At the time of hire, as a condition of employment, must comply with a T.B. skin test or chest x-ray indicating a negative tuberculosis result. Must be fingerprinted and receive a criminal record clearance as a condition of employment. Strong interpersonal skills and oral/written communication skills; able to deal effectively with a variety of people and personality types regardless of ethnic, racial, religious background or socio-economic level.
Compensation
Full time, 34 hours per week
$15.36 to $20.88 per hour, depending on experience. Generous vacation, sick, and holiday; medical, life and dental insurance included.
