Position Closed-Center Supervisor

Program: Arroyo Grande Wellness Center "Safehaven"

Job Summary
The Center Supervisor for the Arroyo Grande Wellness Center is responsible for the organization and direction of the Wellness Center designed to assist adults in their journey to wellness & recovery, as well as connecting members and participants to their community.  This position promotes wellness & recovery for the members and participants and is responsible for having knowledge and skills in all aspects of the Wellness Center. The Center Supervisor will uphold and promote the Center philosophy as well as the philosophy of TMHA in all duties performed.

Minimum Requirements
Individuals who have had lived experience as a consumer of mental health services are encouraged to apply.   Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of six months experience in a mental health/social service setting or 3 years experience in a mental health/social service setting.  Possess strong interpersonal skills and oral/written communication skills; ability to handle crisis situations, display good judgment and decision making skills, remain calm and clearheaded under pressure, and possess well-defined organizational and time management skills.  Conditions of employment include: must be at least 18 years of age; possess a valid CA Driver’s License, minimum of 2 years driving experience, reliable transportation, proof of auto insurance, and DMV driving record that meets TMHA’s current vehicle insurance requirements.  May be required to utilize personal vehicle and auto insurance.  At the time of hire, other conditions of employment are to comply with a T.B. skin test or chest x-ray indicating a negative tuberculosis result, and receipt of a criminal record clearance through fingerprinting.  Must be able to successfully complete First Aid and CPR training.

Compensation
15.36-20.88 per hour, depending on experience.  Position is benefit eligible

Full time - 40 hours per week
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays 8:30-4:30pm
Wednesdays 11:30-7:30pm
