Position Closed-Human Resources Director

Job Summary:
The Human Resource Director (HRD) develops, coordinates, implements and updates a comprehensive human resources program for TMHA staff and volunteers, applying the most current labor laws to employment policies.  The HRD is the coordinator of HR policies and procedures, employee benefits, recruiting/hiring/training, organizational safety, and the Injury & Illness Prevention Program. The HRD supervises the Human Resource Manager and support staff. Above all, the HRD sets the tone for a respectful, supportive and efficient workplace. The HRD must embrace our mission of wellness and promote the positive, client-focused culture we have fostered at TMHA. 

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field. Two years of experience in the human resources field. Two+ years experience in management. Knowledge of current CA Labor Law. Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills; good judgment and decision making skills; ability to remain calm and clearheaded under pressure; ability to handle difficult situations; well-defined organizational and time management skills and strong recruiting skills. Conditions of employment include: must be at least 18 years of age; possess a valid CA Driver’s License, minimum 2 years driving experience, reliable transportation, proof of auto insurance, and DMV driving record that meets TMHA’s current vehicle insurance requirements.  May be required to utilize personal vehicle and auto insurance.  At the time of hire, other conditions of employment are to comply with a T.B. skin test or chest x-ray indicating a negative tuberculosis result, and receipt of a criminal record clearance through fingerprinting.  Must be able to successfully complete First Aid and CPR training.

Compensation:
Full-Time, Exempt position with generous benefits.  $61,182-$82,595 annually, DOE.
